Slow down the time for a moment

Text & Komposition: Sabine Graichen

Everyone has the same amount of time.

But the sense of time is different.

When you were young,

there were so many things to discover.

Time seemed to be endless.

So many impressions per minute:

Clouds that look like elephants and rabbits,

shapes of potatoes – and one looks like a heart,

Loving the smell of a season,

And sometimes just fooling around

just fooling around

When you're grown up,

you have to organize your day.

There is responsibility.

Decisions must be made.

A lot of pressure everywhere.

Time runs away.

So many things have gone unnoticed

and are forgotten to say:

Clouds that look like elephants and rabbits,

shapes of potatoes – and one looks like a heart,

Loving the smell of a season,

And sometimes just fooling around just fooling around

To slow down the time for a moment

do a bit of soul-searching and relax.

And then start to rediscover

the things you enjoyed when you were a child

when you were a child

Clouds that look like elephants and rabbits,

shapes of potatoes – and one looks like a heart,

Loving the smell of a season,

And sometimes just fooling around just fooling around
